Dorset Wedding Festival

This is the second time that I’ve exhibited at the Dorset Wedding Festival and I’m already excited about the next one! Sometimes wedding exhibitions can be a bit full on and overwhelming for brides and grooms – I know I definitely felt that way when I was a bride to be! This one is totally different – It’s really relaxed, set in a great venue (Weddings in a Field at Farmer Palmers, Wareham) with lots of fab suppliers, live music, hot food, a tearoom, mobile bar and much more!

I always struggle to decide on what flowers to choose – there’s just too much choice!! This year the sun was just starting to make an appearance and I was feeling kind of summery…so I decided to have a bit of a rustic beach theme. I used flowers in coral, cream, peach, ivory, blue and lilac, with plenty of green ivy and silvery toned eucalyptus – Amazing Miss Piggy and vendela roses, jana spray roses, lovely lilac clematis, blue delphiniums and thistles, pretty star shaped astrantia, frilly peach lisianthus, carnations, apricot stocks, and scabiosa seed heads. A really lovely combination of colours and flowers with lots of texture.
